Mayer Am Pfarrplatz

Mayer Am Pfarrplatz (Pfarrplatz 2, Vienna) – located in a wine tavern towards the outskirts of Vienna (where famed composer Beethoven once lived in, and was said to have written part of his 9th symphony), this picturesque restaurant (with outdoor and indoor dining areas) serves a variety of local dishes (from tafelspitz to schnitzel). However, it is better-known for its locally-produced wines, which seems to be a major attraction among its patrons. To add atmosphere, accordion players and violinists are often present – playing to patrons from table to table.
